Spring Cleaning: Creating Space for Self-Discovery

As time passes, I find myself embracing the concept of spring cleaning more and more. While it originally meant cleaning my home, my understanding has evolved to include a cleansing of my mind and heart. Just as we have items in our homes that take up space and collect dust without being used, we also have old thoughts and belief systems that take up unnecessary mental space.

Recently, I have been undergoing a deep reflection on my life, purpose, and the role that art and music play in it. This mental cleansing has allowed me to experience a creative renaissance and gain a better understanding of why I choose to pursue a career in music.

Over the past year, I have made some big moves in improving the quality of my music and growing my brand with "Vintage Pop" themed love songs. However, I have also been processing the situation in Ukraine and beginning to write songs that have a much deeper story and meaning behind them. It has been an eye-opening experience to share these more serious works with you and to see them resonate in a profound way. Thank you for helping me to see that the pain I feel has a powerful and universal truth to it. We all experience similar pain in our lives, and it is extremely cathartic when it is acknowledged by others.

Looking towards the future, my vision is to create an album that shares my stories as an immigrant, acknowledges the ongoing war, and embodies the Ukrainian spirit in a deeply universal way. I am pouring my heart and soul into this project, and I look forward to bringing you along on this journey. Thank you so much for your continued support throughout the year; none of this would have been possible without you.
